Sports Coaching Group has formed a new partnership with Padacre to offer Padel coaching to youngsters
At Sports Coaching Group, we are keen on keeping sport fresh and Padel is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world, and is inclusive and accessible for all.
Padacre, the creators of The Padel Den – have provided a new facility for the sport based at Elworth Cricket Club in Sandbach.
Padel is a fast-paced, social and accessible racket sport.
Combining elements of tennis and squash, it offers an engaging experience for players of all ages and abilities.
Now, through our collaboration with Padacre, we’re proud to be among the first in our region to introduce structured padel coaching sessions as part of our wider sports development offer.
Our first padel sessions will be held at The Padel Den on Sunday, May 12 and Sunday, May 19, with the aim of providing a fun and energetic introduction to this fast-growing sport.

The sessions are open to children and young people looking to try something new, build skills, and enjoy the benefits of an inclusive and team-oriented game.
This exciting step forward aligns perfectly with the mission of our parent organisation, EMPHASIS Foundation CIC, to create opportunities, promote wellbeing, and inspire positive change in communities.
By offering Padel as part of our coaching provision, we’re not only expanding our sports portfolio, but also opening the door for more people to engage with physical activity in a new and exciting way.
