Our sessions are designed to give children the opportunity to relax, socialise and explore a range of activities in a setting that feels fun, supportive and inclusive.
Our provision is guided by the Playwork Principles, which recognise the importance of play in children’s development.
We encourage children to lead their own play while our trained staff create an environment that supports creativity, imagination, independence and positive social interaction.
Activities are carefully planned to support children’s development and ensure that we meet the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) learning and development requirements where appropriate.
We also ensure that activities are suitable and engaging for a wide range of year groups, allowing children of different ages to play, learn and grow together.
Alongside our daily activities, we run Theme Day Fridays, which add something extra for the children to look forward to at the end of the week.
These special sessions can include activities such as science evenings, bingo nights, craft sessions, and other fun events that bring children together and create memorable experiences.
At Tommy Tiger Time, our aim is to create a positive, relaxed environment where children feel happy, safe and excited to attend.
Our team of coaches and admin staff are highly experienced and passionate about supporting children in both clubs and wraparound care.
All our venue managers hold Level 3 Playwork qualifications (or equivalent), ensuring they are trained to create a safe, engaging, and play-centred environment.
In addition, all staff are certified in Paediatric First Aid and hold a minimum of Level 1 Safeguarding, Prevent Training, Level 2 Food Hygiene, and Food Allergen Awareness Training, giving parents extra peace of mind that their children are cared for safely at all times.
