Help for schools

If your school partners with EMPHASIS CIC, Sports Coaching Group will support you through fund-raising activities

In partnership with our Community Interest Company, Emphasis, Sports Coaching Group will support schools with fund-raising initiatives and help in sourcing external grants and funding opportunities.

Our support can sustain and enhance PE and extracurricular provision. We can work directly with schools or alongside PTFAs to assist with events, trips, and fund-raising initiatives.

50/50 fund-raising initiative:

We are launching our 50/50 scheme with the introduction of beat “Tommy the Tiger and friends” penalty shoot-out initiative. We will take responsibility for the promotion, organisation and facilitation of the day, providing all equipment, staff and fund-raising incentives.

This will include management of the event in an accountable manner.

What happens to the income from event?

The net income from the event will provide an equitable split of 50% of all revenue on collection and completion of the event. This will go directly to the school or PTFA.

The additional 50% will then be ring-fenced for either existing or new services that would be delivered by Sports Coaching Group at your school.

The reason behind the fund-raiser is to help with the pressures that continue to impact on schools budgets as well as the expansion and sustainability of sport and extra-curricular services.

How we can work with you on grants:

As a group of companies we are invested in supporting the schools and communities that we serve.

We have a wealth of experience in applying for external funding grants and tenders, through our Community Interest Company EMPHASIS

We would welcome conversations around devising a collaborative approach in order to provide support and coordination, in exploring the opportunity to sustain or expand new initiatives and services through external grant applications.

Why form a partnership with SCG?

We have a proven track record of delivering high quality provision at school venues.

We can develop and provide sustainable delivery throughout the year, by enhancing your schools sport and childcare offer along with helping the school with income generation through facility hire.
