Rising hockey star Jake Holland, a Level 2 apprentice at Sports Coaching Group, is not only excelling in his coaching journey but also making waves in the hockey world.
Jake from Nantwich, Cheshire, first played for Crewe Vagrants before moving to Timperley.
His hockey career reached new heights when he represented England in the Under-16 Hockey team during a 4 Nations invitational series lasy year, helping the team to victory.
He is currently training with the Hockey England squad as a forward and Jake combines his passion for the sport with his dedication to coaching others.
His journey is further supported by his involvement in Everybody Health and Leisure’s Talented Athlete Support Scheme, where he trains at Nantwich Leisure Centre, benefiting from state-of-the-art equipment and expert guidance.
“Shadowing elite coaches and training with top players has been a game-changer,” Jake shares. “It helps me deliver better hockey sessions and inspire others.”
Jake’s work ethic and commitment have seen him progress to the England Hockey squad, with further training camps and torunaments on the horizon.

The firm’s encouragement has allowed him to balance his demanding training schedule with his apprenticeship.
