Sports Coaching Group: Staff support Cheshire School Games Partnerships with football, dancing and cross-country events

Sports Coaching Group staff have been helping out at with town partnerships.

Our staff have had some great fun and rewarding experiences during the last few weeks by helping out with schools to deliver some brilliant sports events.

They have been working closely with the School Games Partnerships across Cheshire to support a wide range of school sporting events.

Recently, our staff were out in force at two fantastic competitions.

At the Holmes Chapel School Games Partnership, they played an active role in a football tournament.

From helping out with teams to refereeing matches, our coaches ensured the pupils had a positive, fair, and enjoyable experience.

It was brilliant to see so many young people showcasing their skills, working together, and enjoying the spirit of competition.

Meanwhile, at the Crewe & Nantwich Games Partnership, our staff supported the cross-country event.

With pupils from schools across the area taking part, the atmosphere was full of energy, determination, and encouragement.

Our role was to make sure the event ran smoothly, while also motivating the young runners as they pushed themselves around the course.

These events are more than just competitions.

They give pupils a platform to build confidence, resilience, and teamwork, all skills that go far beyond sport.

For us, it’s about giving back to the community and supporting schools in providing high-quality sporting opportunities.

By partnering with the School Games Partnerships, we are helping to ensure that children of all ages and abilities have the chance to take part in events that are fun, inclusive, and memorable.

We’re excited for the year ahead as we continue to work with schools and local organisations to make a difference through sport.
