We are celebrating a fantastic achievement across Sports Coaching Group, as every coach enrolled on the Level 2 Community Activator Coach (CAC) Apprenticeship has successfully passed, marking a 100% success rate for the cohort.
In total, five apprentices completed the programme, with an impressive three achieving Distinction grades.
The passes reflect the hard work, commitment and professionalism shown throughout the apprenticeship.
Huge congratulations go to George, Tyler, Zac, Leo and Teygan, who have all taken an important step forward in their coaching careers.
The Level 2 Community Activator Coach Apprenticeship is designed to develop confident, skilled and employable coaches who can make a real difference in schools, clubs and community settings.
The programme combines structured learning with practical, on-the-job experience, ensuring apprentices are fully prepared for the demands of the role.
Throughout the apprenticeship, learners develop essential skills including:
- Planning and delivering engaging coaching sessions for a wide range of participants;
- Safeguarding and participant welfare, ensuring safe and inclusive environments;
- Communication and teamwork, supporting colleagues, partners and communities.
By blending theory with real-world coaching experience, the apprenticeship helps learners grow both professionally and personally, while supporting wider health, wellbeing and participation outcomes through sport and physical activity.
The cohort completed their apprenticeship with our sister company, Sportscape Education, whose high-quality teaching, mentoring and assessment processes continue to deliver outstanding learner outcomes.
Their learner-focused approach ensures apprentices receive the guidance and support needed to succeed.
This success also highlights the strength of our collaborative model.
Sports Coaching Group provides meaningful employment opportunities and hands-on coaching environments, while Sportscape Education delivers expert education and assessment.
