This term has seen a wave of achievement in swimming as children progressed through the nationally recognised Swim England Learn to Swim Framework with Sports Coaching Group.
The Swim England Learn to Swim Programme is the established national syllabus for teaching children to swim in England, designed to build confident, competent and safe swimmers through a series of clear, progressive stages.
Each stage focuses on core aquatic skills such as entering the water safely, developing water confidence, mastering core movements and progressing towards recognised stroke technique.
These outcomes help swimmers to become capable and safe in the water as they advance through the programme.
Throughout the term, dozens of young swimmers have successfully completed their stage assessments and been awarded Swim England certificates, a testament to their commitment, focus and progress.
From early water confidence in the first stages, through to more advanced skills development and stroke competence in the later levels, these achievements represent significant personal milestones for each child involved.
The Swim England Learn to Swim Stages 1-7 are structured so that children not only learn to swim but also gain vital water safety and coordination skills, fostering a lifelong love of swimming and physical activity.
For many participants, completing a stage award is just the beginning, the programme encourages ongoing learning, further skill development and continued enjoyment of aquatic activities.
Our coaches provide tailored guidance and encouragement in every session, helping each swimmer make steady progress in a supportive and fun environment.
