As we close the chapter on 2024, we have been reflecting on a year filled with incredible achievements and meaningful impact in the communities we serve.
With our dedicated team of 102 colleagues, we have reached milestones that demonstrate our commitment to nurturing children’s development through sport and care.
Milestones and achievements
Swimming towards success
This year, we helped 12,964 children learn to swim, a vital life skill that builds confidence and promotes safety. Our innovative approach included bringing portable swimming pools to 75 schools, making lessons accessible to children who might not otherwise have the opportunity to learn.
Supporting families through #HAF
Under the government’s Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme, we provided free food and engaging activities to 5,536 children who receive free school meals.
This initiative not only ensured children had a healthy diet but also had access to enriching experiences during school holidays.
Educational impact
From delivering high-quality PE lessons to offering wraparound care in 45 schools, we have ensured that children receive consistent support and opportunities for physical and social development.
Celebrating team achievements
Our successes wouldn’t be possible without our talented team. This year, we celebrated:
- Two team members reaching an impressive 10 years of service, a testament to their dedication and passion.
- 14 colleagues completing apprenticeships, showcasing our commitment to developing skills and fostering career growth within our workforce.
Bringing communities together
In addition to our regular programmes, we hosted 83 events, including sports days and charity events, bringing families and communities closer through shared experiences.
Whether it was multi-sports or sport-specific days, our programmes at 13 venues saw an overwhelming response from participants.

As we step into 2025, we remain dedicated to making a difference.
