We have put together a few facts and figures from our successful October half-term holiday camps – which were enjoyed by hundreds of children.
With sessions running across nine venues, it was a week filled with activity, and memorable moments for more than 800 youngsters.
Each club and camp offered a packed schedule of themed days and sports-specific sessions designed to build confidence, teamwork, and a genuine love for being active.
From football and basketball to gymnastics, archery, and creative challenges, our team of dedicated coaches ensured that every child could find something they loved.
A total of 18 themed activities and four sports-specific days gave children the chance to explore new skills, make friends, and stay active during the school break.
Our coaches created a positive and inclusive environment where every child could thrive – whether mastering a new skill or simply enjoying a fun-filled day with friends.
As part of the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme, we were also proud to serve 252 nutritious meals to ensure all children were energised and ready to take part in the action.
Healthy food and great sport went hand in hand to help every participant make the most of their day.
The response from families has been overwhelmingly positive, with parents praising the quality of coaching, variety of activities, and the welcoming atmosphere created by our team.
We’d like to thank all the families, schools, and community venues who helped make the October half-term such a success.
Your support allows us to continue delivering inclusive, and active experiences for children across the region.
